Window Tint Warranty
Window Tint Installation Warranty – Dust & Particulate Standard
Because window tint installation is performed in real-world environments, minor dust or micro-particulate contamination can occur and is considered normal within industry standards. Absolute contamination-free installations are not technically achievable.
Coverage Standard
Our warranty for dust or debris under the tint film applies only to imperfections that meet all of the following criteria:
• The particle is clearly visible from a minimum distance of two (2) feet from the exterior or interior of the vehicle
• The particle is not microscopic and does not require angled lighting, magnification, or close inspection to be seen
• The imperfection is larger than normal installation micro-dust (e.g., hair, fiber, or visibly distinct debris)
• The issue is determined by our technicians to be the result of installation, not post-installation contamination
What Is Not Covered
The following are not covered under warranty and do not constitute a defect:
• Micro-dust or speckling visible only at close range
• Dust detectable only in direct sunlight, angled glare, or flash photography
• Minor particles that do not affect overall appearance or performance
• Normal settling or visual characteristics common to professionally installed window film
Resolution
If a covered imperfection meets the visibility standard above, we will, at our discretion:
• Replace the affected window film at no charge, or
• Offer a prorated solution based on film age and condition
Final Determination
All warranty claims are subject to professional inspection, and the determination of whether an imperfection meets warranty criteria is made solely by our technicians.

Vehicle Wrap Workmanship Warranty
At Wrap Icon, we stand behind the quality of our work. We are committed to delivering professional installations using industry-leading materials and proven techniques.
1-Year Installation Warranty
We provide a One (1) Year Workmanship Warranty from the date of installation covering:

Lifting

Peeling
-
Bubbling
-
Adhesion failure
Only when caused by installation error.
If any of the above issues occur due to installer workmanship within one year, we will repair the affected area at no cost.
What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:
​​

Damage caused by accidents, vandalism, or road debris

Automatic car washes or improper cleaning methods
-
Pressure washing at improper angles or distances
-
Neglect or failure to follow aftercare instructions
-
Rock chips, scratches, or normal wear and tear
-
Manufacturer material defects (covered separately by the vinyl manufacturer)
-
Environmental damage (extreme heat, chemical exposure, tree sap, etc.)
-
Removal of wrap by anyone other than our team
-
Vehicles with pre-existing paint damage, repainted panels, rust, or body filler
Important Notes About Paint Condition
Vinyl wrap adheres to your vehicle’s paint. We are not responsible for:

Paint lifting during removal

Damage to previously repainted or repaired panels
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle’s paint is in good condition prior to installation.
Manufacturer Material Warranty
Most premium vinyl brands (such as 3M, Avery Dennison, etc.) offer separate limited warranties against material defects. These warranties are handled directly through the manufacturer and may vary by product.
Warranty Claim Process
To make a warranty claim:

Bring the vehicle in for inspection.

All warranty repairs must be performed by Wrap Icon to remain valid.

Paint Protection Warrantty
Paint Protection Film (PPF) Warranty
At Wrap Icon, we install premium Paint Protection Film using industry-approved techniques and controlled installation practices. While we strive for the highest level of quality, PPF installation is a detailed hand-applied process.
Workmanship Warranty
We provide a One (1) Year Workmanship Warranty covering:

Lifting or peeling edges

Adhesion failure caused by installer error

Film failure due to improper installation
If an issue arises within one year due to installation workmanship, we will repair the affected area at no cost.
Manufacturer Material Warranty
Most premium PPF brands offer separate manufacturer warranties covering issues such as:

Yellowing
-
Cracking
-
Delamination
-
Adhesive failure
-
Excessive discoloration
Material warranties are handled directly through the film manufacturer and may vary by product.
Industry Installation Standards (Dust & Minor Imperfections)

Paint Protection Film is installed by hand in a shop environment. While we maintain a clean installation space, 100% dust-free installation is not realistic in any shop environment.
The following are considered normal and acceptable within industry standards:

Minor dust particles beneath the film

Small moisture or installation marks that cure out during the drying process
-
Slight edge lines or relief cuts required for proper adhesion
These do not affect the performance or protection of the film and are not considered defects.
Older Vehicles & Paint Condition
​
Vehicles that are older, previously repainted, repaired, or have existing paint defects may be more prone to:

Visible surface imperfections under film
-
Contamination trapped in aged clear coat
-
Paint lifting during installation or removal
-
Increased visibility of dust due to surface condition
Older vehicles and vehicles with prior paintwork are inherently at higher risk for minor visual imperfections once film is applied. These conditions are not considered installer defects.
We are not responsible for paint failure, clear coat failure, or damage to previously repainted panels.
Maintenance Requirements
Proper maintenance is required to keep warranty coverage valid. Failure to properly care for the film may void warranty coverage.
This includes:

Allowing contaminants (bug splatter, bird droppings, tree sap, etc.) to sit for extended periods

Using abrasive chemicals or harsh cleaning agents

Improper pressure washing techniques

Automatic brush car washes

Customer Conduct Policy
We are committed to maintaining a safe and professional environment for our team and customers.
Any form of verbal abuse, harassment, threats, intimidation, or physical misconduct directed toward our staff will result in the immediate voiding of all workmanship warranties and may result in refusal of future service.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if staff safety or wellbeing is compromised.
Maintenance Requirements
Proper care and maintenance are required to keep your warranty valid.
Failure to properly maintain the vehicle wrap may result in warranty coverage being voided. This includes, but is not limited to:

Neglecting regular cleaning

Allowing contaminants (bird droppings, tree sap, fuel spills, etc.) to sit for extended periods

Using automatic brush car washes
-
Improper pressure washing techniques
-
Using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning products
Customers are responsible for following the aftercare instructions provided at the time of installation.
Refund Policy
At Wrap Icon, we begin preparing each project immediately after approval. Due to the custom nature of vehicle wraps, the following refund terms apply:
Order Deposits & Material Purchases

Refunds may only be issued before materials have been ordered.

Once vinyl or specialty materials have been ordered, deposits become non-refundable.
-
All partial wrap orders, custom graphics, and printed materials are non-refundable once production has begun.
Because all wrap projects are custom-made for each vehicle, materials cannot be restocked or reused once ordered or produced.
Project Cancellations
If a customer chooses to cancel after materials are ordered or production has started, any payments made toward materials, design time, or labor are non-refundable.
Customer Conduct & Refund Eligibility

We are committed to maintaining a professional and respectful environment.

Any form of verbal abuse, harassment, threats, or physical misconduct toward our team will result in immediate termination of service.

In such cases, all warranties and eligibility for refunds are void.
Communication & Response Time
​
We strive to respond to all messages and inquiries as promptly as possible during normal business hours. However, response times may vary due to workload, installation schedules, and project demands.
Refunds will not be issued based on dissatisfaction related to response time, perceived delays in communication, or unmet expectations regarding reply speed.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize delivering high-quality work to every client.
